Eveready Battery Company, Inc. is an American manufacturer of electric battery brands Eveready and Energizer, owned by Energizer Holdings. It should not be confused with the almost identically named and defunct U.K. battery company, Ever Ready. Its headquarters are located in St. Louis, Missouri. The predecessor company began in 1890 in New York and was renamed in 1905.

Karrin mentioned, "Eveready batteries are the worst I have ever had the displeasure of using. I have purchased batteries at dollar stores that worked for longer than these have. These batteries are the worst I have ever had the displeasure of using. I have purchased batteries at dollar stores that worked for longer than these have."
